Kagurashi-hen, Part 2 (神楽し編其ノ壱, God-Entertaining Chapter, Part 2) is the thirteenth episode of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu.
Summary
Eua forces Hanyuu to watch the end of a fragment wherein Keiichi Maebara beats Rika Furude to death in Angel Mort. Through this, Hanyuu learns of the powers gifted to Satoko Houjou. Hanyuu attempts to fight Eua but is quickly overpowered and strapped to a cross.
In Hinamizawa, Rika wakes in another loop but is quickly killed by Satoko. Eua mocks Hanyuu for her inability to help Rika and Rika's inability to determine the identity of her torturer. In response, Hanyuu says Rika will prevail with the power of miracles.
In another loop, events play out as depicted in the final loop of Nekodamashi-hen, with Rika planning a surprise birthday party for Satoko. While doing so, Rika recalls several memories from previous loops, indicating Satoko's role in her torture. Satoko instinctively ducks when Rika reveals her present for her, cementing the fact that she has knowledge of previous loops.
