Kagurashi-hen, Part 1 (神楽し編其ノ壱, God-Entertaining Chapter, Part 1) is the twelfth episode of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu.
Summary
Rika Furude reappears in the Sea of Fragments as Hanyuu despairs at Rika's situation and recounts part of Matsuribayashi-hen. Through this, Hanyuu manages to repair her horn, restoring her power and allowing Rika to know who had killed her. However, the last of Hanyuu's energy evaporates and she disappears after telling Rika about the sword that can kill "those who live in loops." Satoko and Eua watch this conversation.
In the next fragment, Satoko preemptively steals the sword so that Rika cannot use it. However, Rika manages to find a piece of the sword which is sharp enough to work as a weapon. After this point, the events of the episode play out as they did in Nekodamashi-hen.
In the Sea of Fragments, a fully-formed Hanyuu confronts Eua.
