Tataridamashi-hen, Part 3 (祟騙し編其ノ参, Curse-Deceiving Chapter, Part 3) is the eleventh episode of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou.
Summary
Frustration grows as the club fails to save Satoko Houjou from abuse. Shion Sonozaki appears at the Hinamizawa school and demands the club members take action. Shion eventually proposes killing Teppei Houjou, however Keiichi Maebara is strongly against this, remembering his dream from the previous episode. Rika Furude is particularly shocked by Keiichi's refusal to kill Teppei. Keiichi manages to convince the others to join him in visiting the Child Welfare Office directly.
The group attempts to convince the case workers at the Child Welfare Office to intervene but are unsuccessful. The next day, an undeterred Keiichi rouses the entire Hinamizawa school into marching towards the Child Welfare Office. The larger group is successful in meeting with a more senior employee at the Child Welfare Office, resulting in a meeting that reveals certain details about Satoko's case. In the meeting, the group learns that Teppei had been largely left out of previous reports of child abuse, with the majority of allegations instead falling on Tamae Houjou. Defeated yet again, Keiichi and his classmates decide to rally even more people into forcing the Child Welfare Office's hand.
