Kagurashi-hen, Part 4 (神楽し編其ノ四, God-Entertaining Chapter, Part 4) is the fifteenth and final episode of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu.

Summary

In the Sea of Fragments, Eua attempts to crush Hanyuu beneath a pile of furniture. Meanwhile, Rika Furude and Satoko Houjou continue to fight over their ideals, having abandoned the Onigari-no-Ryuuou. Hanyuu breaks free and summons the Onigari-no-Ryuuou to the Sea of Fragments. Using the sword, she slashes at Eua, breaking part of her memory device.

Satoko and Rika fall to the ground, exhausted. They agree to a truce, attempting to build a future that includes both of them. They are found by Mion Sonozaki, Rena Ryuuguu, and Keiichi Maebara. The group discusses the nature of friendship while Rika and Satoko reconcile.

Later, the group reconvenes at the train station to see off Rika as she moves to St. Lucia Academy alone. In a private moment, Rika and Satoko discuss their nature as eternal beings and the value of spending time apart from each other and the inevitability of their meeting again.

An epilogue shows the aftermath of most characters in the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni universe, including the sudden awakening of Satoshi Houjou and the dissolution of the "witch" Satoko.
