Synposis

Sotsu continues the story of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou, following Satoko Houjou as she attempts to stop Rika Furude from leaving Hinamizawa.

Production

Sotsu was first teased at the end of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou along with a teaser trailer posted to Kadokawa's Youtube channel.[1] The official anime account posted that Sotsu would begin airing in July[2], with Funimation putting out an English announcement.[3]
