- Utsutsukowashi-hen is curiously subtitled as Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai (ひぐらしのなく頃に解) instead of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai (ひぐらしのなく頃に怪) as all previous Kai titles are written. The kanji 解 refers to mysteries while the typical kanji 怪 refers to answers.
