Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jan (ひぐらしのなく頃に雀) is a manga adaptation of the video game of the same name. It follows Keiichi Maebara as he becomes involved in a unique mahjong course at school. An alternate version of the manga entitled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jan: Tsubamegaeshi-hen was released in 2010, following the manga-only story arc Tsubamegaeshi-hen.
Plot
This chapter of the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series, called the "Mahjong" chapter, is related to a "dramatic mahjong" game being released for the PSP in November 2009. This time, Keiichi (a boy who moved to the small village of Hinamizawa), finds himself drawn into a special mahjong course at his school.
