Sabakichi Kumasawa (熊沢 鯖吉, Kumasawa Sabakichi) is the son of Chiyo Kumasawa and a recipient of a mysterious letter from Beatrice. He only appears in Alliance of the Golden Witch.
Profile
Kumasawa's son. Works at the Niijima Fishing Harbor. He must have gotten his carefree, big-hearted personality from Kumasawa.
Many of Kumasawa's sons are fishermen, so they're often away from land for their work. This one happens to work at the harbor, so it was only coincidence that I managed to get in touch with him. Kumasawa loved to talk, so I did hope he might've heard her let something slip, but... |
Appearance
Sabakichi appears as a portly man with squinting black eyes and grey hair. He typically wears a blue shirt emblazoned with kanji.
Plot
Alliance of the Golden Witch
In 1998, Ange goes to interview relatives of people who died in the Rokkenjima Massacre, with Sabakichi being her second stop. She discovers that Sabakichi received a letter containing a PIN number, a bank card, and a set of keys labeled A114, similar to Masayuki Nanjo.
Trivia
- The kanji on his shirt stand for "fish" and "blue."
- "Saba" is a type of mackerel, a fish whom Chiyo Kumasawa is obsessed with.
