Seven Stakes of Purgatory

The Seven Stakes of Purgatory, also known as the Seven Sisters of Purgatory, are furniture employed by Beatrice. The Stakes can bounce off of walls and objects in order to attack from any direction. Due to their speed, the Stakes are almost impossible to escape without a strong magical resistance. The Stakes can also take on a human form in which they can use blades of light to attack.

After Beatrice was defeated in End of the Golden Witch, the Stakes became furniture for Battler Ushiromiya. During this time, Bernkastel and Erika Furudo reveal that the vessels for the Stakes are cheap fake occult knock-offs that Kinzo was tricked into believing were real.

Each of the Seven Stakes are named after a one of the seven princes of hell, each of whom represent one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

  • The sprites for the different Stakes are identical aside from their hair.
  • Like other magical entities, the Seven Stakes are vulnerable to bullets.
