"The basis of my magic is nothing more than your believing heart"—Eva-Beatrice, Banquet of the Golden Witch
Eva-Beatrice, also known as Evatrice or simply EVA, is a manifestation of part of Eva Ushiromiya's personality. She is represented by a younger version of Eva.
Eva-Beatrice is the lingering manifestation of Eva Ushiromiya's childhood desire to become a witch. She served as a small "voice" inside of Eva's head for a majority of her life; it wasn't until Eva discovered Kinzo's gold that she began to take greater control of Eva's mind.
Eva-Beatrice has an exceedingly cruel personality and her powers surpass even Beatrice.
Banquet of the Golden Witch
In Banquet of the Golden Witch, Eva-Beatrice assists Eva Ushiromiya in solving the witch's epitaph and discovering Kinzo's gold. Shortly thereafter, Beatrice passes on her powers and the title of "Beatrice, the Golden Witch" to Eva-Beatrice. Eva-Beatrice quickly tests her powers by cruelly killing and reviving Rosa and Maria Ushiromiya. She becomes annoyed when Beatrice appears and tries to convince her to use her magic in a more tasteful manner.
For the third and fourth twilights, Eva-Beatrice originally uses Leviathan and Belphegor as weapons, however she grows tired of using Beatrice's furniture after the two stakes are defeated by Rudolf and Kyrie Ushiromiya. She then summons Chiester 410 and Chiester 45 to kill Rudolf and Kyrie.
Eva-Beatrice is unable to use her magic to its full extent until she completes the ritual described in the witch's epitaph; as a result, Eva Ushiromiya's energy is used as a power source for her magic until the ritual is complete. Because of this, Eva suffers from a heavy fever for the majority of Banquet of the Golden Witch.
