Summary
Zel's musical quartet becomes popular around town. Zel reveals that she has been using their recent string of gigs to gather information from Chinese laborers and has uncovered a scam at the placement office that has been a source of conflict between Japanese and Chinese laborers. Oliver Oribe, Charles Chatani, and Nina Ninagi split up to gather further information and eventually uncover details about the scam that they can report to Wayne Uedera.
