Xiao-lan (小蘭, Xiǎolán), sometimes translated as Hsiao-lan, is a Chinese gangster who performs surveillance for the Golden Dragons. Her speech is largely unintelligible to the reader as she is mute and primarily communicates using sign language.

Xiao-lan was a feral child who spent most of her life in the alleys before being taken in by Meijiu Lee.

Appearance

Xiao-lan appears as a young girl with long black hair tied into a bun and braid. She typically wears a purple cloak over a pink top with overlong sleeves along with long socks and purple slippers. She has a red dragon tattoo on her stomach.

Plot

Last Season

During Rose's final assault against Richard, Xiao-lan assists Alan Aramaki in attack Keith Kisaragi. This leads to Alan and Keith falling from a window. Xiao-lan kicks them into a tree as they fall, hoping to save them. However, Alan shields Keith during the fall and dies on impact. Xiao-lan is last seeing looking over Alan's body alongside Keith.

Trivia

• It is revealed in the credits to Last Season that Xiao-lan shares the surname "Lee" with Meijiu Lee and Yuki. However, it is unknown if she is related to them by blood.
