Miyao Mitake (御岳都雄, Mitake Miyao) is a young Gauntlet Knight and the protagonist of Ciconia no Naku Koro ni. He is the Second Lieutenant of the 0017th Aerial Augmented Infantry Squad.

The current world record holder for highest P3 level measurements. His overwhelming score far surpassed second place.
