Onidamashi-hen (鬼騙し編, Demon Deceiving Chapter) is the first arc of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou. Told from both the perspective of Keiichi Maebara and Rika Furude, the arc takes place after the events of Matsuribayashi-hen. Rika, having already overcome the endless loop of June 1983 once before, finds herself in the Sea of Fragments, unsure of the nature of the death that led her there. With the help of Hanyuu, Rika attempts to put a final stop to the cyclical events in Hinamizawa.
