Okinomiya (興宮) is a small, somewhat rural town near Hinamizawa. It is home to several members of the extended Sonozaki family as well as the Okinomiya prefectural police force. Okinomiya is close enough to Hinamizawa to prevent symptoms of Hinamizawa Syndrome.
