Akihito (アキヒト) is the man Rena's mother left her husband for. Initially he was a friend from Rena's mother's work, however their relationship quickly escalated. After he impregnated Rena's mother, the two decided to marry and left both Rena and Rena's father. Neither Rena nor her father has seen Akihito since.
