Takano (鷹野) is the fifth chapter of the Hotarubi no Tomoru Koro ni manga.
Summary
The mysterious woman kills the remaining dogs. She warns the Tadamura family that they should get to safety before nightfall. The group brings Tsunemasa and Nobuteru inside and attempt to treat their wounds. The mysterious woman joins the family inside and reveals that her name is Miyoko Takano. She informs the family that the only time where it's safe to go outside is during twilight. The Tadamura household acts as a safe zone due to a talisman placed by the front door. Since the talisman was created to prevent demons from entering the house, Takano concludes that Hirasaka must have experienced a similar event in the past. Takano grabs a fly from outside and shows it to the group. She explains that the flies are the end result of those who are sent to hell and that the entirety of Hirasaka is currently in hell.
