Fog (白濁) is the second chapter of the Hotarubi no Tomoru Koro ni manga.
Summary
Tsunemasa Tadamura explains the appearance of a second sun as an illusion known as a sun dog. Yue and Terumi remain in the family house while the rest of the family checks the surrounding area for signs of the missing body. The family learns of other strange happenings: the other villagers are gone, the phone lines are dead, the power is out, the water is stopped, and there aren't any radio signals. Tsunemasa takes the car and attempts to drive to the neighboring village. He learns that Hirasaka is enveloped in a thick fog and venturing too deep into the fog causes intense headaches.
