Furthermore, the pentacle is inscribed upon [[Maria Ushiromiya|Maria's]] [[scorpion charm|scorpion charms]] and the doorknobs to [[Kinzo Ushiromiya|Kinzo's]] study. It is said to have the power to ward off dark spirits, thus preventing Beatrice from harming anyone with a charm or entering a door with the pentacle inscribed on it.
