Land of the Golden Witch was a scrapped episode of Umineko no Naku Koro ni that was originally meant to take the place of Banquet of the Golden Witch as the third episode of the franchise. However, Ryukishi07 determined that the story was too difficult for readers as it was more difficult than Twilight of the Golden Witch which itself was criticized as being too difficult. Elements of Land of the Golden Witch were later used in Alliance of the Golden Witch and Dawn of the Golden Witch.
