Land of the Golden Witch was a scrapped episode of Umineko no Naku Koro ni that was originally meant to take the place of Banquet of the Golden Witch as the third episode of the franchise. However, Ryukishi07 determined that the story was too difficult for readers after his interactions in fan forums. Elements of Land of the Golden Witch were later used in Alliance of the Golden Witch and Dawn of the Golden Witch.
In-universe, Beatrice refers to Land of the Golden Witch as her masterpiece which she sealed in a bottle and set to sea.
