When They Cry Wiki:A brief note on editing privileges

The When They Cry Wiki was born out of a general dissatisfaction with the existing Umineko and Higurashi wikias, a dislike for Fandom/Wikia in general, and the current nonexistence of wikis pertaining to Ryukishi07's other works such as Rose Guns Days, Higanbana no Saku Yoru ni, and others. As such, the wiki began as a personal project and continues to exist as a personal project. The result of this is that I, User:Kinzo, am effectively the only one who can edit/create/delete or otherwise alter anything on the wiki. I realize this is somewhat counter intuitive to the original ethos of a wiki as a collaborative project, however this result is something that will remain in effect. If it were possible, I would have the ability to have users create and edit Talk pages to discuss articles and bring up any possible inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or other errors present in a given article. Unfortunately, however, this seems to be something out of my reach without allowing editing privileges across the wiki. So, again, the result of my sole editing abilities remains. I apologize for any inconveniences. I hope you can use this wiki as a source of knowledge regarding any aspect of the When They Cry franchise, however small, and I will continue to maintain this wiki to the best of my ability.

With recent updates to the Miraheze platform, my original intentions of having users be capable of creating talk pages is possible. Now, if you are a registered user on the wiki, you should be able to create and edit talk pages on any given wiki article. If you come across any typos or misinformation, please detail it in the appropriate talk page and it will be resolved as soon as possible.

Thank you.
