*In ''[[Himatsubushi-hen]]'', Ooishi mentions a passion for ballroom dancing. ''[[Taraimawashi-hen]]'' reveals that Ooishi took up dancing after retirement as a means of maintaining physical fitness.
*Ooishi's first name, ''Kuraudo'', can be written phonetically as "クラウド", or ''cloud'', therefore giving him his nickname.
*Despite his appearance, Ooishi is quite skilled in wrestling and hand-to-hand combat.
*One of Ooishi's main weapons is a gun, and even though he seems skilled with one, he admits in ''[[Himatsubushi-hen]]{{himatsubushi}} ''that he has actually never fired a gun before.
