Genji Ronoue: Difference between revisions

Genji, like Kinzo, is the son of a wealthy family. As a Taiwanese native, Genji met Kinzo when the two were living in [[w:Taipei|Taihoku]] during the Japanese occupation. The two became close friends, and Genji recounts that Kinzo had saved his life during the post-war period; Kinzo had arranged to have Genji and his family smuggled out of Taiwan, however Genji's family was reluctant to part with the wealth they had in the country. Ultimately, Genji was the sole member of his family to escape Taiwan; the rest were presumably killed.
