Chiyo Kumasawa (熊沢チヨ, Kumasawa Chiyo) is an elderly servant who has worked on-and-off for the Ushiromiya family for a long time.

Plot
End of the Golden Witch
In 1985, Kumasawa helps Natsuhi Ushiromiya cover up the death of Kinzo Ushiromiya in exchange for a sizeable sum of money.
Requiem of the Golden Witch
Kumasawa appears during the latter half of Requiem of the Golden Witch, during the stage performance of Clair Vaux Bernardus. She is called upon to testify her involvement in the upbringing of Sayo Yasuda. Kumasawa took a motherly role towards Yasuda and was one of the few who knew the truth of Yasuda's identity.
Twilight of the Golden Witch
Kumasawa is the fifth person to pose a quiz to Ange Ushiromiya during the Halloween party. Her puzzle consists of a Japanese-English pun.
Trivia
- Kumasawa is strongly connected to the witch Virgilia. In Banquet of the Golden Witch, Kumasawa turns into Virgilia after the Seven Stakes of Purgatory attempt to attack her. During this encounter, Virgilia refers to herself as having been "sleeping", so she may not necessarily be one in the same with Kumasawa but instead using her as a vessel.
