TenIn 1993, ten years after the [[Great Hinamizawa Disaster]] in 1983, in which about 1200 residentsvillagers lost their lives due to released volcanic poisonous gas, [[Ichiho Kimiyoshi]], visits her now-abandoned hometown of [[Hinamizawa]] only to encounter dangerous monsters. As she is about to be killed, Ichiho is saved by the goddess [[Tamurahime no Mikoto]], who introduced herself as a goddess. Tamurahime- no- Mikoto guides herIchiho to the [[Saiguden]], causing Ichihoher to travel back in time, before the disaster.
